A Summer’s Evening With Bills Restaurant

Welcome back to Bitchin’Blonde! Today is a delicious kind of post filled of carbs and ice-cream. I was invited down to Bills Restaurant Liverpool One to experience their Summer of Music event and taste test the menu. The Summer of Music event travelled over the UK to certain Bill’s restaurants, it was an evening filled with acoustic music and a refreshing summer menu.

Alex (the boyf) accompanied me down to Bills, of course. We got there a little early but it was nice to get settled before the music and really take in our surroundings. Bill’s Liverpool One is a delight restaurant with an eye for interior. With chalk board signs, hanging hot chillies and incredible lamps, it was cool atmosphere. We both started with a pink lemonade, my favourite. Alex had never tried it and I think he was a bit spoilt for choice so he chose the same as me! We then out our order in and a rather big one it was. The waiter has a huge list consisting of feta, gnocchi, flat breads and of course a sweet treat for afterwards.

I started off trying to be healthy with my water melon and feta salad but pasta found its way home, to be tummy. I would like to say me and Alex were treating our selves to carbs but in reality we do it everyday and bill’s is a place you can do both wether you want carbs or you’re off carbs Bill’s has a large menu fit too suit everyone. Even our veggie, vegan and lactose pals! We both decided on gnocchi I had the vegeterian gnocchi, a creamy pesto dish with white wine, smoked tomatoes and of course CHEESE! Mine was incredible the sauce was so rich it made the perfect partner for my garlic flatbread. Alex had the diablo gnocchi which is a dish full of prawns, spicy sausage, chorizo, cherry tomatoes topped off with garlic butter, a meat lovers dream. Alex however doesn’t like prawns at all but Bill’s was really accommodating and removed the prawns from Alex’s dish so it was heaven for this pasta lover.

Alex ate of the normal menu but I decided to eat of the set menu which we noticed was three courses for £13.95 or two courses for 11.95 Monday to Friday 12 noon-7pm which we thought was such a good price perfect for a little date night with your boyfriend or bestie! We then ordered our desert…

We decided to go for the melting chocolate bomb after seeing all the instagram fish off delicious desserts being destroyed in such a beautiful way we thought we would go for it! It was so amazing I think me and Alex wished we hadn’t shared with one another… The chocolate bomb hide a creamy vanilla ice-cream complete with brownie and honey combed pieces. A dessert I will never forget!

An evening I will never forget! The music was beautiful and I’m not the kind of girl that goes to restaurants with live music, in the past I’ve heard some not so good bands and usually it isn’t my type of music or a type I enjoy but the acoustic singers were beautiful and added a romantic atmosphere across the restaurant.

I never thought I would recommend a chain restaurant but I really do like Bill’s and can see myself going back there especially if the chocolate bomb stays on the menu…

Hope you guys enjoyed another little foodie review I haven’t had any of these up on my blog in a while so it was nice to have a date night and be able to share it with you guys! Huge thank you to Bills Restaurant Liverpool One for inviting me, I will be back!

See you guys next Friday…
