Well it has been a long time since I wrote one of these kind of posts, over half a year to be exact! Of course in the past six months there has been so much going on in my life so grab a cuppa tea and be prepared for my moaning, excitement and a few tears…
Let us start with the good, university. I successfully (dunno how) finished second year with a 2:1. It was tears, tantrums and lying helplessly on my bedroom floor for hours trying to figure out photoshop but in the end all my hard work paid off and now I am even more excited to get back to it and start my final year of university. Excited because it is my final year and I think I will be so proud if I can make it to the finish line. In final year I really want to go the extra mile and show a little bit more of my personality through my work. I have a bunch of ideas so I am excited to get back in the classroom.
Blogging has been going really well it is so wonderful to make even more friends in the blogging community and watch all of the Liverpool bloggers shine and grow in their own way! I am even more excited that all of the gang are getting together for The British style Collective which I am attending so keep your eyes peeled for some juicy pictures and potentially a vlog! It is so good to see great things happening to good people who deserve it! Big shout out to my bestie Abbie – Blush&Noise who has been nominated for so many awards at Northern Blog Awards! I also was super lucky enough to have been nominated for a vlogging award so thank you to everyone who has voted for me! Of course if any of you guys want to keep voting for me and Abbie you can HERE
Now for the tissue grabbing part. Nearly a month ago now Alex me and all the families were put through the wars as Alex had a very serious accident, it is just something we never thought would happen. Something Alex thought would never happen to him! It has changed a lot of things and I will never forget getting the phone call telling me Alex was in hospital it is just the worst thing seeing your partner go through something so horrific and not being able to help in the slightest. It is something I down wish to really go into detail with and I am sure Alex would appreciate the privacy, so all I can say is that Alex has made so far what is a very lucky and quick recovery and we thank everyone from friends, family and my blogger pals for all the incredible support! It means so much to us and your positive really helped at a time we needed it, so thank you! Off course you guys who are always up to date reading my posts every Friday may have noticed I missed a few, I am sorry but I hope you can understand why.
After the circumstances I felt felt very low and in a pretty can’t be bothered mood but with great things for us to look forward to I am going to try make the best out of the rest of summer… So hopefully at the end of summer I can fill you guys back in and bring you a more positive post full of sun memories!
Thank you for reading, understanding and support me. See you next Friday
