You guys may have seen my little vintage post (here) were I spoke about some of the pieces I picked up in New York. After this I had a few items left over (non vintage) which where too small for a haul but I wanted to show you. So here our two other items I got my hands on in the Big Apple. I could have done separate post including these items but hey they went well together I thought. Also if you can’t tell I’m really channeling Kat Slater lol.
This jacket I spied my eyes on about three weeks before I went to New York but I was really trying not to buy anything before I went so I left it, but I went back. I actually seen this in NY but they didn’t have my size as I like to get a size up in jacket so I can layer with a chunky jumpers underneath. When I came home I ran straight to Zara for it and I have taken it off since.
My top is from Brandy Melville, this I knew I wanted but didn’t think I’d find it, it honesty was magic. In Liverpool we don’t have a Brandy Melville and I think the next one closet to me might be London. I’d been eyeing up this top for so long so when I spotted it on the table I grabbed it as quick as I could and ran the till. If you haven’t been to a BM check out their Instagram you’ll fall in love straight away.
Skirt I know I know it is beautiful and this was something I really wasn’t sure about getting but now I am glad I did, only thing is I stupidly got the wrong size as I was unsure on American sizes, so yes it’s a little big but it is too beautiful not to wear. I grabbed this at Urban Outfitters for $70 -, I know this is a hell of a lot but it would have haunted me if I didn’t get it.
Fishnets and Converse are no stranger to me and I probably pair any dress or skirt with my fishnets and converse. I love the idea of the ombre leopard print skirt with the fishnets though. It gives the idea of a street walker, in films the promiscuous character is always styled in fish nets leopard print and red. I’m a fan I think its a style we all should explore!
