I’m back with another #OOTD. I love shooting these guys and you hopefully like them to, so I thought I’d share the one I wore while in NYC. So thankful I was able to shoot this on a gorgeous day in New York when the crazy showers of rain stopped and the sunshine. I took it while in yep you guessed it Central Park. This was 100% on mine and Alex’s list. I love going to the park and escaping the hustle and bustle of Liverpool so to be able to stroll with my best friend in an incredible park was amazing. If only we had more time. We only actually ended up walking a corner of the park because it is HUGE. But this was good enough for us and we got to see the museum and the John Lennon memorial which of course was on my list as I’m just so proud of the city I come from including all the incredible people. So while we strolled up many hills and climbs rocks and basked in the glorious sun I somehow convince Ali to take a few snaps of me.
Of course I had to have my comfy vans on for all that walking. I paired them with a black washed pencil skirt from the brand BDG (Urban Outfitters), this skirt is very tight and 100% pulls in the right parts but I don’t think it was the ensemble for climbing rocks lol. I then pair it with on open criss-cross light cotton blouse (UO) and of course Ali’s flannel shirt from Fred Perry. Lately well since this trip I’ve been really into flannel shirts I feel like it really emulates that ‘grunge’ look that I love so much. I’m hoping to add this to my growing collection.
