I haven’t baked in such a long time as I’ve been so busy with my new job and festivals but really just general life has got on top of me. So I decided to set aside some time today and bake as I’ve been promising my dad I will bake him some cakes for a while now lol. Hope you enjoy this recipe with the sweet treat of chunky fudge icing.
What You’ll Need;
Unsalted Butter 110g
Caster Sugar 110g
Self-Raising Flour 75g
Medium Eggs x2
Chocolate Powder 50g (I use Borneville)
Dark Chocolate Spread tblsp
Any Butter 20g
Icing Sugar 150g
Chocolate powder 50g
Cadburys fudge bars x4
Take the softened butter and blend with sugar adding in the eggs later on along with the flour and the chocolate powder.
Wish together well until a creamy consistency arrives. Remember to beat a lot of air into it we want these cakes to rise.
Set into a pre heated oven for 15-20 mins on gas mark 4.
While they are cooling mix up the icing. Blend together 2 of the cadburys fudge bars and add this to a separate bowl which contains your icing sugar and butter. Beat the whole mixture together for a while until it becomes a very thick sticky paste.
When cakes are cool ice them and top off with the other 2 cadburys fudge bars cut into little chunks.
And there you have it delicious little fudge cakes. Now cheat day, what even is it? Tuck in and enjoy.
