As Spring slowly walks towards us it can be really hard on deciding what to wear as it may be Spring and the temperature is increasing but that doesn’t mean it’s time for pastel blouses and midi skirts. I know that in Liverpool I’d freeze it may be sunnier but it’s still chilly. Today I’ll be giving you some tips on what is actually practical for a Spring in the UK.
When it comes to wearing a butter layer swap the heavy winter coat for a lighter duster coat or even a oversized leather jacket which you can layer up underneath if needs be. I recently bought a light weight wool coat for ASOS in sale and after owning it for 2 weeks, I’ve worn it so much and it’s perfect for this weather. I prefer to wear my heavy duty coat when its extremely windy or raining.
Changing up your tops and go from long sleeved to short or even opt for a crop top. Thats what I have done here and it is still appropriate as it’s a long sleeved crop top with a high neck. Topshop and Missguided have a ton of these in at the moment. So when the sun is shining but air is cool I throw on this crow top with a longer jacket to cover my tummy.
Jeans are by are the easiest thing to change up, simply go from black to a denim blue shade. Or if you aren’t big on jeans some cigarette pants with loafers look super cute too and very Spring appropriate.
Shoes don’t really change much but I’ve left my Doc Martens at home and I’ve gone for an open toe boot to add a bit more of a spring vibe to my outfit.
See you on Monday!
