GRWM – Party Edition

Hello my lovelies and welcome back to this weeks post! I recently tweeted this look on my twitter account (Bitchin’Blonde – @tisdaleerin) when I was going to a party so I thought I would turn this into post as I personally enjoy reading these and seeing up close pictures of the stunning makeup looks people produce. This look however I cannot say I done myself as my gorgeous, talented cousin (Instagram – Beautywithrob) done it for me. I like to get my makeup done but I am really fussy and don’t really trust people, as nearly every single time I have had my makeup done at places like MAC and what not I haven’t really liked it. But with Rob I trust her 100% she’s incredible and super talented! She is the big sister I never had…

I thought we’d skip the face makeup as everyone has their own preference and lets be honest the eyes are the show stopper when it comes to this look! If you do want to know what products Rob used on my face please comment below and I’ll give you the 411. So for the eyes we used the MannyMUA + MakeupGeek palette LINK. Unfortunalty I do realise that this is sold out however if you can not wait for it to be restocked I’m sure Makeup Geek have a ton of shadows which are really similar!

Step One – Was to prime the eyes with the maybeliine colour tattoo paint pot in ‘Creme De Nude’. Then Rob ran ‘Beaches and Cream’ through my lid with a fluffy blending brush. She then followed the same step but with ‘Sora’ which is a beautiful colour for Spring and Summer time!

Step Two – She blended ‘Mars’ (most incredible red eyeshadow I have ever seen in my 19 years on earth) through the crease, blowing it out at the edges to avoid a perfect straight winged line. She then took ‘Aphrodity’ and pattered this all over the lid and then re-blended ‘Mars’ back into the crease where it met Aphrodite’.

Step Three – (THE SHOW STOPPER) Robyn added this incredible reflected pigment from MAC called Blackened Red. This just gave the eyes something incredible and really made it party appropriate I think. Now this had a lot of fall out so I suggest doing your foundation last! We did apply it with FixPlus (MAC) and after all my makeup was complete we reset the whole face again with FixPlus and honestly this pigment did not move at all the whole night!

Step Four – We applied Sora, Frappe and Aphrodite under my eyes and blended all together to add a little something underneath! We then went in with my all time favourite mascara by maybelline top and bottom lashes. Then of course added some falsies (ARDEL demi wispies). Robyn also then concealed the lash band just to hide the glue with some black liquid liner!

For my outfit I wore my the velvet two piece that BalmainxH&M sold a few months back (now unfortunately sold out – eBay guys…) This is an ultimate favourite outfit of mine its so flattering on the body and the material is to literally die for it is incredible! I paired it with my seventies style chunky courts from Topshop and then added my Vivienne Westwood Vintage style bag. Now I don’t really have gold jewellery I’m mostly a silver gal but I just chucked on a old gold ring and some Vivienne Westwood gold studs.

Ooh I looooove that make-up look! I know what you mean about trusting people with your make-up, I just feel like everyone likes it different so I never want to trust anyone to do mine, even though I am sure they would do it better!

Thank you Shay Grady! It is now going to be a go-to look. It's so hard to trust people but when you find the artist you know you've found a piece of your makeup soul, lol. x

I absolutely love this make up look! You're right the eye make up really is a show stopper, the red pigment is just incredible. You have a very talented cousin. And I also love your outfit. I remember that piece from the h&m Balmain collection and loved it so much, and your shoes look awesome too. A great post! Katie
