Two Day Dance Off – Lovebox Festival

Hey Guys, welcome back to the normal Friday blog post! As a few of you may know me and my boyfriend Alex visited London a few weeks ago it was so lovely to spend quality time alone and explore together. Now as much of a great time I had in London I don’t want to share all my pictures with you, 1. because its nice to keep something personal but 2. I’m sure many of you reading this have either visited London yourselves or are very much aware of the touristy things to do down there. So I thought id let you in to the festival we went to Lovebox Festival, show you what I wore, who was on and just try give you guys and over all feel to how the festival was. 100% recommend if you love going to lots of festival like myself and Alex.

WHAT I WOREIt was only a very short festival consisting of two days so I didn’t need to plan what I was going to wearing however it needed to be comfortable as I was in these clothes for about 12 hours! First I decided to go very plain with this jersey playsuit from ASOS. I adore the lace up as it my current favourite trend and the sleeves are bell sleeves but have a cuff at the bottom. This being white however wasn’t the best as the festival was very dry and dusty so it got dirty real quick! For the second day I knew the weather was going to be better so I wore this cute little two piece again from ASOS. I love the paisley print as to me thats very festival fashion but also how light the material was this kept me cool on the hot sunny Saturday. Something else I really love about this is the way it fits on my body, I have a hard time finding clothes that fit me perfectly especially shorts and skirts however these shorts sat beautifully on the hips and have encouraged me to buy more from ASOS. As you can see from both pictures I used the same shoes and bag and me and Alex shared a case so sacrifices were made. Shoes River Island (last summer) and bag also ASOS. Please ignore the dirty thigh and feet *LOL*LOVEBOXLOVEBOXhttp://www.asos.com

WHO PLAYEDThis was a Christmas present I bought for Alex so the music was more for him however I really did enjoy my self even when I was seeing people I hardly listen to. The line up this year was one of the best looking back we had MK, Shadow Child, Jessie Ware, Annie Mac and of course not forgetting Snoop Dogg, amazing artists all in one great big park! For me Annie Mac and Snoop were the best and had the best vibe within the crowd. However I know for Alex who is a huge fan of Shadow Child with out a doubt he was the best in his eyes.LOVEBOXLOVEBOXLOVEBOX

LOVEBOX VIBESWithin the festival there were lots of things to do such as roller skate and eat the worlds best mac ‘n’ cheese! It wasn’t just a festival it was a place you could relax at the bars and get up to all sorts of things even getting your nails done if you fancied. What I loved so much about this place was how different it was to your bog standard muddy festival! It was of course so hot and wellies were left at home and you just got carried away having too much fun and exploring. Being here reminded me of Glastonbury 2013, it honestly is like a mini glasto with all the crazy unique things to be found. I really would suggest to anyone to try this festival out next summer its a lovely weekend away!

Thanks for reading guys, see you next Friday…Erin x
