Back To Mac

This weeks blog post is just a little reminder to be a little more caring towards the earth. I had heard about the 'Back To MAC' project a while ago but didn't realise it was a UK project too. So after finding this out I collected hard all my empty MAC products from fix plus to powder compacts. Now this sounds like a lot but all you need is six empty MAC products PS they don't even have to be empty they can just be out of date or old makeup you don't want anymore. These 'empty' products back to be recycled and it's all a way to help out planet reduce the use of plastic which we all know isn't the best.

So I collect dup and popped into my local MAC Pro store and gazed deeply into all the nudes, of course. After a while tip toeing back and forth I decided to go with 'Whirl' I had previously decided I was going to get 'Persistence' as blogger babe Abbie (***LINKHERE***) told me how nice it was and to be honest it's definitely worth me going back for it but I'll save that one for my next Back to MAC purchase. So I stuck with what the heart wanted after dazing over 'Whirl' since the worlds hype on it, I took the plunge and picked that one. It's an Erin kind of shade and I know it'll never leave my purse. I just politely asked at the till if I could do a Back To Mac swap for Whirl lipstick and it was as simple as that, fuss free and amazing customer service at the Liverpool store.

Hope you guys enjoyed reading my little Back To Mac purchase and remember to recycle all your unwanted empties! Plus MAC isn't the only brand Lush also do it with their little black pots, just do some research and you'll find there are some simple easy steps in helping out wonderful world.

  1. I recently picked up Whirl and it is such a pretty shade, I really love the matte formula from MAC. I will definitely be keeping my empties once they run out and do this!
