Style Season | Christmas Edition

Hello my lovely readers and welcome back! This week I've had a brain storm and I've decided that I want to start doing more series on my blog. I've got a few sneaky ones planned for next year. But I'm starting with this one, 'The Style Season'. This will basically be me prancing around in pictures and declaring what I think is fashionable.
So I'm starting off with festive fashion. This time of year I'm always stuck for ideas on what to wear and even though the shops are crammed with outfits I can never see one I really want or feel comfortable in. So I've spent the last few months picking up so things that I may want to wear around this jolly season. Of course not everything is still available but it's more about the style of the item than the actually item itself. So I hope this gives you some inspiration, lets crack on...
Starting off with something a bit more casual, I have paired this feather skirt (Miss Guided) with this lace top (Unknown). I love different textures and I think playing around and finding a few which either match or contrast each other is going to be a great combination! Burgundy of course is my go to winter colour,  I would like to branch out but I'm still a wimp like last winter. Simply paired it with black tights to make it more casual and some flat black boots (ASOS), P.S I'm totally loving the sock slip on style boot this year! I added this little across body bag (Topshop) as a little more extra feathers can't hurt, can it ?

Now my second outfit is for the party girls who don't like getting their legs out or for a matter of fact anything out. For me I like to stay covered up especially in winter it's too cold for all that bare leg! This two piece is from the H&M x Balmain collection, unfortunately this is what is sold out and it's extremely hard to get hold of unless you go on Ebay, but that comes with a silly inflation of the original price. I added some black pointed courts, however I can't promise I will wear these as I'm on the hunt for a coloured shoe instead of just black (shock horror!). I've added the red bag from the same collection to add a little something. I love this bag as the red colour is just divine, however not much of a clutch bag as it is very tiny, so if your a girl that carries a ton of junk in your hand bags I suggest finding one a little on the larger side. This was seen on the catwalk modelled by the beautiful Gigi Hadid who wore it with lots of jewellery and a big waist belt, I may try and find my self a little choker to go with this. But I quiet like the simplicity of it as I feel the pattern on the beautiful velvet fabric really draws attention to the outfit.

Now for my ladies who like to show of their pins. This dress I fell in love with instantly it's from a brand called LostInk. Now looking at it now I think this dress is super risky for me even though I love it, it's a love hate kinda thing. I'm not entirely sure when I'll wear it but it is nice to have a option thats a little more daring than usual! A backless dress is always a classic and the kind of skin I like to show. The slit at the front is what petfrifies me (don't worry guys it's not a spot, just a tiny skin diver). What I love about this the most in the high neck and contrast between the chiffon and velvet materials, yes I loves me some velvet. These types of materials I never imagined would work well but they do! The over all shape and this dress is very flattering and it keeps my arms covered which is always a bonus to and hopefully won't be showing by 4 month Christmas dinner food baby. Paired with some silver heels (Topshop) and little silver clutch bag (Whistles) I wanted to add a little sparkle somewhere, this is a Christmas styling post after all.
